Digital Issue 04/2026

To provide a quick overview of the “Kind + Jugend” trade show, we’ve incorporated various thematic sections into our new issue and present, among other things, highlights from the toy, fashion, book, and baby stroller categories. Our cover story by BIBS explores how the needs of the youngest children can be reconciled with those of parents when it comes to a seemingly simple product like a pacifier. The design stories focus on a world first from Britax Römer, and in our company profile, we report on the innovative products from Magiv B.V. Another key focus of this issue is once again the topic of sustainability, which continues to shape the industry and remains as important as ever due to numerous new regulations. Of course, you’ll also find important industry news and current information – including the latest results from Stiftung Warentest on strollers and baby carriers, the BDKH industry report, as well as exciting guest articles and interviews. The retail landscape is also in the spotlight: Our feature introduces the current favorite store, Vetter4 Kids, in Weinheim. In addition, we report on international fashion trade shows and other developments of interest to specialty retailers. As a result, the latest issue of baby&junior offers a concise overview of new products, trends, and topics currently shaping the industry.
